Whether you're brewing drip coffee, a single-serve pod or iced coffee, this multitasking machine from Cuisinart has you covered. Its Extreme Brew technology helps you make a 12-cup carafe of coffee up to 25% faster than standard machines. It also has settings for advanced start, Brew Pause, temperature control, auto-off and bold flavor. The single-serve brewer makes cups from 4–12 oz., and works with any type of pod or your favorite ground coffee and the reusable HomeBarista filter cup. Compatible with both the drip coffee and single-serve brewing functions, the Over Ice feature customizes the brewing process to optimize the flavor for iced coffee.

USE
Drip Coffee Brewer
- When using #4 paper filter, ensure it is completely open and fully inserted into basket. It may help to fold and flatten seams of paper filter before inserting.
- Add 1 level scoop of ground coffee per cup. Adjust amount according to taste up to 15 Tbs. max. Exceeding this amount may cause overflow if coffee is finely ground.
Single-Serve Brewer
- Pod will be hot after brewing; use caution when removing.
CARE
- Unplug machine before cleaning.
- Filter basket, filter basket holder, carafe, drip tray, capsule holder and HomeBarista reusable filter cup are top-rack dishwasher safe. Alternatively, hand-wash in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly. Dry all parts after cleaning.
- Wipe area under filter basket, heater plate and base of coffee maker clean with damp cloth.
- Avoid using scouring agents and harsh cleansers.
- Do not immerse unit in water or other liquid.
- Clean water reservoir with damp, lint-free cloth. Do not dry inside of water reservoir with cloth, as lint may remain.
- Descale coffeemaker every 3–6 months. If calcium deposits build up faster, Clean indicator light will illuminate.
- When cleaning single-serve brewing chamber, do not place fingers inside. There are two sharp needles that puncture the capsule – one above and one below – and can cause injuries.
