5 Ninja Detect™ Power Kitchen System Pro
Posted by Bradley Mitchell on Aug 13th 2024
I selected this for my wife, she’s been making protein smoothies lately to help balance her macronutrients. She has a stick blender but it’s messy and doesn’t always blend the ingredients fully. She also loves to bake so I thought the food processor bowl would be useful for her. First off, I’m going to warn you that the blades included in this product are SHARP! Like samurai katana sharp. The instructions caution you to use a washing brush with a handle to keep yourself clear of the blade for good reason. So, after we patched the wife up, she made a smoothie with the included cup. Ingredients, including some fruit she added, were fully blended. No missed chunky bits. The cup includes a lid with a flip cap to use like a travel mug. She doesn’t really care for the lid, it doesn’t have a vent hole so it’s hard to drink out of it. It’s ok to pour from if you don’t pour too fast. Next up, she processed two packs of cookies to make cookie bars. She ran the first package on small chop, the pieces came out with small bits and finer. She switched to mince and it produces a finer chop as you would expect. For the second package, she went with the BlendSense option. After the initial sensing, it went to Max-Crush and produced the finest grind. I’ll attach photos so you can see the results. I will say, this machine is as loud as the other blenders or food processors we’ve had. It is not a quiet machine. It does have a beautiful display/control knob on it that we found intuitive to use. There are suction cups on the bottom to keep it firmly in place when you’re operating it. It’s able to detect if you have the pitcher, the bowl, or the cup installed so you can access the right modes for the accessory you have on it. One thing the wife pointed out- the underside of the accessories has some small cavities that are difficult to hand wash and fairly impossible to dry. The instructions say they are ok to wash in the top rack of the dishwasher with NO heated dry cycle. Since the cavities are open, they do air dry fine. We haven’t tried the dough blade or the slicing/shredding disc yet.

5 Ninja Blender and Processor
Posted by George Abbott on Jul 30th 2024
It is fabulous! Since I’ve bought it I’ve been making stuff with with it everyday. Mash potatoes, smoothies, juices, and even my dogs food and his treats. Careful blades are very sharp, which is great, cut my finger the first day. I absolutely love this product.

5 Top Notch Detection and Performance
Posted by Danny Fox on Jul 15th 2024
DESIGN: Alright, let's dive in. The design of this Ninja blender is top-notch. It has a modern aesthetic that adds a stylish touch to any kitchen. The matte finish and sturdy build give it a premium feel. The digital display isn’t just a pretty face; it’s intuitive and user-friendly, lighting up with just the right amount of information without overwhelming you. The modular components are the icing on the cake. Not only do they make storage a breeze, but they also allow for easy cleaning. Plus, the rubberized grips at the base ensure it won't go dancing on your countertop. FUNCTIONALITY: BlendSense Tech: Okay, so here's the scoop. Most of the time, this tech is on point. I whipped up some hummus, and boy, it was velvety perfection. But with berries? The seeds can sometimes throw it for a loop, making it think it's dealing with chunky ice. It can get a bit overzealous, but it's not a deal-breaker by any means. Manual Function: Here's a surprise - even with a manual mode, I find myself letting the machine take the wheel. Just set it and forget it. I mean, who doesn’t love a bit of hands-free action in the kitchen, especially when you're juggling a dozen tasks? Diverse Attachments: The Ninja blender brings more to the table than just blending. There's the... Cup: Perfect for those on-the-go mornings. Blend up your favorite smoothie, pop on a lid, and you're out the door. Regular Blender: For when you're entertaining or meal prepping, this sizeable blender can handle it all, from soups to sauces. 8-Cup Food Processor Bowl: It's like having a sous chef in your kitchen. Whip up salsa, dough, or even shred cheese. Speaking of which... Reversible Slicing & Shredding Disc: Slice veggies for salads or shred them for slaws. This disc makes kitchen prep a breeze. Powerhouse Performance: We're talking 1800 watts of raw blending power. I tossed in frozen goodies, from ice to stubborn berries, and this beast handled it effortlessly. If you're tired of those annoying icy bits in your smoothies, this blender's got your back. Closing Thoughts To wrap it up, the Ninja Detect Kitchen System is a real game-changer. While there's that minor berry hiccup, it doesn't overshadow the blender's stellar performance and killer sharp design. It's versatile, powerful, and a looker to boot. If you're in the market for a blender upgrade, especially one with versatility and extra attachments, I'd say this one's definitely worth considering.

It’s power. Not only making smoothies for my family, also good to prepare dough for breads or asian foods (as beef balls, fish cake…)

5 Great combo unit to get anything you need blended
Posted by Eddie Taylor on Jul 10th 2024
So admittedly I probably have two blenders, a couple of the cup type blenders, and a food processor that I felt a sigh of relief when I could replace all of them with this singular setup. Having the single base means I can put it in an out of the way corner of my countertop and simply slot in whatever blending device I want to use. The bottom of the blending unit has suction cup feet which prevents any tipping when I'm going a little crazy with the contents. (Key tip: The handle of the blending attachments faces towards you when you set it on the base and then turns to the left to lock.) Overall, it's a great setup. The three blending attachments I keep in a cupboard underneath, the main blending unit on the counter so I don't have to drag it in and out. Each of the attachment pieces has a separated blade so you can easily clean it in the dishwasher and never have to worry about running a brush down into a blender jar with the blades at the bottom. Performance was on par with my best blender and I was able to quickly whip up my standard smoothie with ice cubes and even tested crushing ice into a snow-cone like consistency. Power was definitely sufficient to power through the ice and the blendsense detection worked pretty well to determine how I might want my contents blended. I did appreciate the capability to switch over to manual mode though just in case I wanted to do things a little differently.
